High Pressure Fuel Pump Install

Just a few pics of the Walbro 255 l/h high pressure fuel pump install.

Tank removed



Under car:



Old vs. New



Finished Assy:



Took less than four hours and the pump was a direct fit for a 97 CL 2.2 PN GSS342 and install kit PN 400-826 $108 Shipped from
http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com

Piece of mind for the FMAX kit. Might go ahead and upgrade the injectors too. Have another month to wait.

It's amazing what you can accomplish while awaiting "the turbo"!

I imagine you can't wait to get it installed!

Besides the injectors, what other "prep" are you planning to do?

Got the VAFC and timer installed couple of weeks ago.

Got boost and fuel pressure gauges on the way w/ a dual pod.

Really want to get some RC injectors like 440 or so to keep up with the air.

Want to get a boost controller but afraid it'd be like crack. One I used it.....
