HID kit VS 9006-9005 conversion

What do u guys think? How much better is the light output with the HID kit vs the Bulb Conversion? I've read that bulbs only cost less than $10... and with the HID kit being around 250 ish... would the bulb conversion be a better choice? I wanna know how much better or worse light output there is. thanks for anyones help!

is there a forum that Compares Bulb conversion to HID kits? I can't find it... i've educated myself on HIDs a few times already... and i Know the kit isn't the best way to go. But my question still stands at what is overall better and by how much, is the HID Kit VS 9006-9005 bulb conversion. thanks for the help though.

HID is the way to go

if u just don't feel like spending money on hids, stay w/ bulbs

or did you want us to say do conversion than hids?

OK, HIDs are some where on the order of 9000 to 10000 lumins as compared to the halogen output which falls some where on the order of 900 to 2000 lumins. Does that answer your question? Imagine 1 lumin = 1 candle power. (a birthday candle)
