hid conversion question again

I did a search for this already but i think it's better for me to get direct responses. I just ordered some hid Mcculloch conversion. I ordered 9006 but they sent me 9005. Would 9005 work for our low beams??? or should i return them...? help needed quick... thanks

yes it will work fine. u just have to modify the tabs on the bulb like any other 9005 conversion. there should be no diff in performance over a 9005 hid kti and 9006. the only dif is the tabs on the base of the bulb.

here some tips on modifying the tabs

If its a h.i.d kit, It really don't matter if its 9006 or 9005. The connector is the same, so it will fit. My friend has a 9005 kit in his 9006. Works fine.

audi A 6 retro

anyone think good or bad about this set? probably buy this exact one, seems kinda shady with how he put 'sold as is' in caps and shit, but wondering if it was a good choice/ fit for a 97

they A6 is a very nice projector and they have great cutoff, if you want more blues then i would look into the Valeo ECE projector, or a E46 projector out of a BMW/Mercedes. Most likely if he put AS-IS then the ballasts are fucked up or something is wrong and he cant figure it out

also if you want to find a kit try the forums at www.hidforum.com
