Thumbs down HID*ProBlemo

so Last night my right light kept flickering... when i turned on the headlights it was trippy looked like a strobe light. so i kept turning off and on again and it kept doing it finally It cut out!. so today i switch the right bulb with the left ballast and it worked! and i always switch the left bulb with the right ballast and it didnt work.
So i have a bad ballast. thx hy. does anyone have a spare ballast laying around?

nobody has a ballast? not even one for sale? where would i get an extra one cause i know all the ones come in kits.

yeah but i want a kaixen ballast.. and all they have for kaixen are kits.

that flickering thing sounds like it wasnt getting enough current. check your wiring before you put in a new one.

dude its the wire i am telling you. its not the ballast. if you pull to hard the the wire to the bulb you might have pulled the wire from its soder point.

naw.... i just need a new ballast. it was working fine... then it cut out.. how can it be a wiring problem if the wiring was perfect an it was working perfect. i opened the ballast and found a bad connection. i need a new ballast. or im thinking about selling this setup on ebay. AS IS and getting a new kaixen kit

I think he ment bulb size here. The kelvin Temp must be 7500k u mean...

you might wanna replace both ballasts.. i had to replace one and since i have 2 different ones now the color of each side is sooo slightly different, the older ballast is just a tad more white/less blue than the other side, mine are 6000K, only I notice it though but keep that in mind
