Hi....I'm new, and I need parts :-(
I just got my 2.2 CL about 4 months ago, and just got into an accident this past weekend.... I've quickly learned that parts for these cars are next to impossible to find....if I had known that I probably would have thought twice before buying it. I really needed a car at the time and it was only $4000.
Anyways....I need the following
Pass. Headlamp
Front Bumper cover
Possibly a whole bumper assembly
or if anyone has a bra for a first gen CL I'd be interested as well.
If anyone has any parts cars, or just spare parts, please let me know. Also if there's any sites with affordable parts you could direct me to, I'm not really familiar with these cars, my last car was an 84 Supra
I'm sorry if this post looks like spam...I'm just having a hard time finding resources on the internet. Thanks in advance

Nah, I don't need the grill, but thanks anyway. The only damage was to the bumper itself. I basically clipped a truck's wheel making a left turn....the only damage to his truck was a slightly bent rim, so I paid him $100 out of my pocket and called it even...but my car wasn't so fortunate. I'll try to get some pics up soon, I took some but my camera isn't connecting right or something.

Is that the vertical kind? Heh, you probably could have sold that to me a week ago, when my car didn't need anything else.
I'm considering for the time being, just having the existing messed up bumper put back on, and getting the new headlight, then buying a car bra to cover up the mess until late summer/fall when I can afford to fix it right....anyone got pics of what that'd look like? preferably on a white car?

sucks hardcore man. Hope you can find those parts, and i'd love to see some before/after pics.
you'll soon come to learn that your CL is quite a gem. If you give her a chance, that is.
welcome, Good luck, and take care!

And just for sh*ts and giggles, here's my other ride (still a work in progress, off the road)
I know what you mean about it being a gem....I'm not so sure I did before the accident tho, so maybe it's a good thing in a weird way. It really wasn't anything I was looking for last december....I needed a new car to drive down to Florida in (I'm in NY) to visit my girlfriend (I went down last month), and the Supra was having too many problems itself to justify fixing it to hold out a little longer, so I was a tad rushed, not to mention limited to 94+ models for my loan. After a couple weeks of looking for a good 240sx, Miata, MR2, or Celica GTS, I broke down and went with to a dealer my bro knows and picked this up for $4000...it has quite 160k miles, but you'd never know it. I never really liked hondas, the boy racer image sort of turns me off them, but I really like this one for a daily, took me a while to realize it, but it does have quite a bit of class. I'm planning on modding it a bit next year, if not late fall. Maybe a new paint job, wheels, 3.0cl spoiler, etc.

read the post dude, my bumpers seriously messed up and I'm on a tight budget right now. It's not my choice, and I plan to fix it right when I finish paying off the loan. Just want something to cover up the mess.
