Hi I'm new....check out my CL

Hi everybody. I'm new to the post and just wanted to say hi. I have a 1998 2.3 CL. I've had the car for less than 6 months and I have done a bunch of mods in that time. Here a list of my mods: Every light bulb in my car is xenon
Clear front turning signals
Stock spoiler
OBX cold air intake
OBX 4-2-1 headers
ZEX Nitrous kit (75 shot) VRROOOOMMM
Autometer gauges and gauge pod (air fuel mixture and water temp.)
Indiglo gauges 6 color
Racing pedals blue
Racing cat
White PCW 17 inch rims
17 205 40 zr kumho tires
Panasonic cq-df800u receiver
2 Rockford fosgate amps, (1) 300 watt 4 channel on mids and highs and (1) 800.2 pushing 2 infinity perfects 12's
6 1/2 pioneer 2 way up front and pioneer 6x9 3 way in the back
Arospeed coilovers
Ingalls camber kit front and back
alignment
Brembo cross drilled and slotted brake rotors front and back
aem brake pads
Aladdin 2000 alarm with pager and remote start
Apexi dunk exhaust (not installed yet)
Had blue acura emblems but they were stolen

I plan to add a turbo to my car in the near future. I have allready purchased a '97 eclipse turbo and intercooler and greddy BOV.

I love my car especially since it actually moves now. I beat gsr's no problem.
I Live in Miami and you can see me at the races most Tuesdays.
Let me know what you think.

ya, scotts car was sweet. He's still got it though, but it's all basically back to stock. He had good reasoning for not getting clears. Everyone out here in cali has them, and you almost have to keep the stock lighting to be different. Plus, it really does set off the bronze in the rims.

Thanks for the welcome. Cars perfect with the nos. Never raced a GSR without NOS so I don't know. I'm guessing I would't win but it would be close. Heres a pic of my ZEX bottle and my 2 infinity perfect 12's

I have raced a mustang gt the one before the newest model and a 2 integra gsr's both looked moded up and i beat both of them. with only intake, and my mufflers and custom piping. I have 4" piping. i dunno if they just sucked ass at driving or im just naturally fast. One time on the freeway a moded gsr beat me. but after getting my headers in i think i can beat that integ on the freeway.

yo dcsquirm!!!!

sup welcome to the board. Nice car. I really love ur gauges!!! I been thinking about doing that with the carbon fibre series A/F gauge and volt meter set up but i dont know where to get the gauge pod from. Is it for the accord 97s? And was it hard to install? I would prefer not to have to drill any holes and cut any wires in the engine bay or ECU. Please let me know. I been dying to do this but seems like u beat me to it!.

Hey whats up?
I used an autometer gauge pod for a 94-97 accord. The pod fit perfectly with no mods required. I bought the pod from carparts.com for like $30. Autometer only makes the pods in black or carbon fiber, so I painted the pod tan. Yes I had to drill 4 holes to install the pod. If you dont want to drill holes your only option would be to buy the full pillar gauge pod from auto meter. The full pilar pod replaces the entire stock pillar with the autometer pod. If you ever want to go back to stock you can simply switch pillars again.
It pretty easy to install. If your going to install an a/f gauge your going to have to drill a hole through the fire wall into the engine bay. It has 3 wires one connects to the +12 volt source, ones a ground and the other you have to splice to your O2 sensor on your header. Oh and your going to have to buy more wire cause the autometer gauges to come with enough wire for our cars. Good luck

Great car! Welcome to the boards...looks like you have a lot to add to the forums

How do you like the aladdin? I have one sitting here but haven't gotten around to installing. Can you take a shot of the pager mount?

Hey...
When I installed the A/f gauge I did have to cut the O2 wire. I have never heard that you can connect the gauge to the ecu. I pretty much followed the instructions that came with it. I don't have any pics of the aladdin alarm but I like it alot. Works alot like a viper alarm. I just wish the range of the pager was longer. It gets really poor especially when you park at a parking garage. Even though I had the alarm some @$$ stole my blue Acura "A" emblems. So nothing is perfect as with most mods. I include a picture of what the pager looks like from there website. Thanks for all the positive feedback from you guys makes all the money and time spent on the car worth while. I'll keep you posted any on any other mods done to my car. If theres anything I can help you with let me know. I've done almost all the installs to my car myself so if its on my car I can most likely help you out. Do it fast do it furious

Did you do the alarm install yourself? If so a little insight/tips would be appreciated! Yeah the short distance of the pager is why I haven't installed it yet..I was going to get the clifford avantguard4...just because i really really liked it.

Well sorry to burst your bubble but it's rare that you see a CL over here in Cali. Especially one with clear lights. I went to like 20 stores before I found someone that actually had them. Even then I had to buy them off the internet. The only CL's that you see out here are driven by women or older people. It's rare that you see one raced out. Only until I joined this forum was when I actually seen one with mod's. What you do see over here in Cali are Integras, Civics, Accords, Eclipses, Supras, Celicas, and Mustangs. Damn there isn't one day that goes by where I dont see a mustang. There is one on almost every conner. Thats one of the reasons why I love my car so much. It's rare that you see another CL on the road!!!

Its true...whenever i commute back to school from home, i see a CL in front of me and i try to be all slick and pull up next to it to show off my mods...and im telling the truth here, 4 out of 5 times its an old woman. The only time i see a CL without old women is when i see the CLs around school

Moved to Maui, huh? Well, I can see why he'd move back so soon.. hehe! If you don't have the dough to begin with it's very hard to live in Hawaii. Especially with the economy the way it is there. Even the locals are having a hard time. I'm kinda glad I'm not there right now cause it's really taking its toll... lots of people on unemployment, etc. Must be hard. But, anyway, yeah, nice color, dude.

YEAH, THAT EXACTLY WHY HE MOVED BACK, HE WAS WORKING AT A GOOD RESTAURANT MAKING GOOD MONEY, BUT SINCE THE 11TH, NO MORE TOURIST'S ARE COMEING IN WHICH MEANS NO MONEY, SO HE HAS TO MOVE BACK, HIM AND HIS COUSIN CANT AFFORD IT, WHICH SUCKS, BUT HE SAID HES HAPPY TO BE COMING BACK. TOMAS..
