hey, although i havent post here in awhile, ive been looking around. i am actually in need of any suggestions.

as most of you know, i have a 99 prelude..and i found out that one of the clips behind the headlight is missing. this clip holds the bulb secure...so i called dealer, and they said you have to buy it with the whole asembly which is $350 each.

sooo does anyone have any idea on where to get just the clip? or suggestion in making one? or do you guys think a accord or civic will fit?

i might go check on my light, but it seems like the rubber doesnt have the latch showing in the picture?

 

my friend prelude needs the same thing, he got in a minor accident and the clip broke, but hes getting new blackhousing headlights from ebay.

 

if its rubber, check any year prelude's headlights in the scrap yard. My 93 had them and they might fit......but definately junk yard.
