So I have to know, what kind of hiccups and unexpected situations have you H22'ers ran into after and during your swaps? Seems like a few of you always have some issues.

i had enough of the car sitting collecting dust so i made the executive decision to start another project..

plan so far is:

- pull motor
- Completely remove AC, ABS, PS
- tuck brakelines/tuck prop valve under the heater under the dash
- COMPLETELY redo the wiring. Remove useless wires (ABS,CRUISE, AC..etc)
- Tuck the engine harness
- Much, much more..

So pretty much redoing the bay properly like i should of done b4. Should be pulling the motor this week and gonna do a compression test on it to see if its up to par. If after the compression test the motor is legit then im straight up gonna sell the swap (motor, tranny & anything associated with it).

At that time i'll figure out what motor is goin back in, as of right now its not gonna be an H-series (you guys can use ur imaginations but im not spillin the beans ) , but my focus is just getting the bay prepped and looking proper for whatever is next..

So pretty much this thread is gonna be my build thread and i'll post up new pics and shit as i go. This isn't gonna be a quick project and its gonna take some time so im not rushing anything since the car is just sitting anyways with no comming out party anytime soon...

not at all the h23vtec is tricky with wiring but it h22 isn't a pain if you know what you're doing same goes for most swaps.

the h22 swap is simpler then the h23 just because there's little things that seperate both motors, which lead me to where I am right meow..

Yea there's definitely things that seperate the 2 motors, for some reason the wiring isnt as easy for an H23aVtec motor. Maybe because they were originally in AWD automatic Honda Accords. But once i worked the kinks out, making 196whp on just bolt ons and a basic basemap on an N/A 4 cylinder made it worth it.
