Here it is - Primrose Quartz - I believe is the color:
(couldnt fit the whole car in the shot, lol)
Now the imperfections -
bumpers dinged and headlight fogged on drivers side:
picked up some mait stuff - new tranny fluid, new oil, Hayden tranny cooler, oem oil filter...and what's that round thing?
WORK WHEELS!! VS Edition (predecessor to the VS-XX Line) 17x8 & 9 35 offset.
9 on the left and 8 on the right.
Well that's it for now, I'll post more as I go, I need to pick up tires and settle on suspension. Even though I love Fliplyricist's look - I dont think I can go that low. I'm thinking either:
1. Eibach Prokit/Koni Sports with adj perches
2. Neuspeed Sports/Koni Sports with adj perches
3. Ground Control CO's/to be named later...
I'll be doing 235/45/17 rear and 215/45/17 fronts.

I actually took care of the headlight Sunday when I did the fluid change. I used rubbing compound and meguire's plastic polish with a mother's powerball. It cleared it up pretty well.
I'll definately keep everyone posted with progress, and thanks guys for the positive comments.

Man, trying to figure out suspension is harder than I thought, i know with the offset I picked up, lower looks better, but I definately dont plan on slamming it. Any additional suggestions as far as that goes?
Playah8ta - thanks, I like it a lot too

IF/When I repaint the bumpers I'd prolly do it. Until then, I'll just clean them real well, lol.
Well pulled apart my friends Starks for the same deal, and ended up polishing the hell out of them. Then he put them back together and can't get two two seal - so they're sitting since summer.

I'm up if you guys get together, it'll be nice to meet some fellow CL guys and see some of these rides up close.
acuraracer96744 - I did that exact thing, Mothers Plastic polish worked wonders.
97BlackAckCL - See post above, lol. My friends 1st gen RX7 was in the way on one side and our fence on the other, I'll get some better shots in a different location.
And I got a good quote from Marcus at Heeltoe for the Teins - so I think I may go that route.
Hey, anyone got a fix for the power driver seat? wont move forward. And I cant even get to the rear bolts to remove it to throw another seat in there for now?? Anyway to swap the assembly to just make it a manual seat? I really dont want to spend $600 to replace the entire power assembly.
Damn - I just realized I'm the oldest person in this thread...Damn

Good choice on the teins, check the fuses for the power seat
#24
972xghost, yeah, i thought about those at first, but no go for the 3.0. I kept looking at spring/shock combos and see that for the same price for most combos, I can just get the teins.
The only two combos that are dirt cheap for spring/shock is $400.71 for KYB GR-2s and Eibach prokit (and that's from tirerack, so if i searched more i'm sure it's cheaper elsewhere)
or KYB's and Neuspeed Sports for $179 from shox.com.
Believe me, I've been reading and searching and looking thru old threads. The only one who seemed real happy with his set up but I couldnt find any pics was Pebe on GR-2s and Prokits. AND even then, the TEIN price from Heeltoe isnt that much more.
Either way, with the Works, I can slam for looks and raise if it becomes totally impractical to a fair height. I gotta admit, I would like to see how it'll look slammed once i have the works on there.
Right now I am just trying to figure if i can use a 235/45/17 on the 9's. I'm not sure it'll stretch enough and may just square up and rub. If it works I'll be doing 215/45/17 f and 235/45/17 r.
Oh and blackack - I checked all the fuses, everything is good. It's only forward that wont respond. All other directions are fine.

I'd say prokit and agx, but shit teins so much better, u gettin basics I assume?
#27
Blackack - yup, just basics, dont need more than that. The KYB/Prokit would still be my next choice. I really need to get my tires mounted so I can see what kind of dimensions I'm working with.
Gun5 - nice pickup - I did get lucky, and I've really been enjoying the drive.
