Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my front passenger seat. It will not slide forewards or backwards, but the seat back WILL flip up and down. Now, I washed my car today (this has been a problem for at least a couple of months (yeah I know, I'm lazy), so as I'm vacuuming it, I try to see if there is an obsturction in the trac, but there wasn't, so I poke and prod and jiggle anything I can find, and the bitch STILL WON'T MOVE!


Any suggestions, ideas, thoughts?



It doesn't bother me, but it sucks for someone trying to crawl into the backseat.....

 

same thing happens with mine sometimes
try pushing on it hard while pulling handle
it works for me

 

My handle won't move.....forgot to mention that.....

 

there is a cable under the seet that releases a latch...is that broken or jammed?

 

Same happened to me. I pulled the seat and had to reattach the cable(s). There are two, one for the front lever, and one for the seat flip lever. My seat flip lever cable came off the slide mechanism. It was a pain, I couldn't get the side trim off the seat b/c the handle plastic wouldn't come off. It took me like 30 minutes cause of that. If you can figure out the trim removal, it takes 3 minutes....
