Help! My Starter is going out!!

Aargh!!! I started having problems on Saturday. Here's what happened. I was on my way out when I had to go back into my place. As opposed parking in my designated space (apartment parking sucks) I pulled up to the curb, which is alot closer to my apartment, turn on my hazards, and go in for about five minutes.

When I come back out I try to turn on the rider....no response.
I assume that the battery must have drained, which is still odd, because it's only been a few minutes. I tried jump starting....nothing. The only thing I get is a rapid clicking sound.

Later that night I went back to start it up and it starts right up. I started it up a couple of times just to be sure. Each time it starts but that damn clicking sound gets worse er' time I start my baby up. This sucks.

Has anybody had this problem? If so how much did it cost to replace it?

Same exact problem about 2 months ago.
All my work was under warrtanty......but OEM Acura staters are expensive.............My bill with towing and shit came out to a little over $500. I only had to pay a $50 deductable. but since it was under warranty the shops like to jack up the bill so they get more money in their pockets.

I'd get it fixed asap.......my lasted for about 2 days starting/no starts..... then one day I was stranded....it gave out on me.

You can find rebuilt staters for a lot cheaper......if you don't have a warranty. Good Luck
