Exclamation HELP!! my radio doesnt work

well since my alpine headunit got stolen i had to put my stock headunit back in. and everything worked fine until today. i went to the mall and when i went back to my car an hour later there was no sound. all my controls worked but no sound. so it took it out real quick and re-plugged everything. put my radio code in and still nothing. i have no idea what could be going on. I need some help!! because after work im heading to my friends college 30miles away and i need some tunes!!!

Does it have power? You said the controls work, just checking. Check your fuses, 2 in the internal box and 2 under the hood, cig lighter / radio fuses. Otherwise, loose wire to the amp?

Your amp isn't being triggered, search for stock amp and you'll find all the answers you need.

it sounds like your speakers are getting grounded out. If any one of your speaker wires touch ground it will make the whole system cut out.

Yeah, def sounds like an open ground, the guy that did your window may have freyed a wire causing it to ground out, soon as you slam the door, it jossles the wire loose and breaks the ground, rip the panel off and tape that shit up
