HELP! idle rpm problem?
Hi All,
I've seen it posted before but I wouldn't find it from my search.
Yesterday, after an hour of driving, I parked my car in a mall to pick up some grocery. When I come back out, start my car... the car start shaking and the RPM drop to zero and my check engine lights turn on.... Any idea?
Is it my tranny?
Please help..

ok you might fall extension warrenty that got put into place up to 150,000 miles. check acura.com for more on it i cant remember the exact site but you might fall into that catorgory. if you recieved a notice in the mail then you could but i have a 97 and i got a notice telling me about the warrenty it said something on there about the car stalling when driving or something like that matter. do a search for it on here and search for something like extended warrenty i think dustbuster had a topic about this matter but not sure but i know ive seen the post up here too

I dont think its your tranny. because of the winter you probablly wanna use thinner oil. the ideling could be cause by your fuel and air. so try to replace your fuel filter, PCV valve and air filter. if that doesn't fix try fuel injector cleanner.
