Help with Headlights

Hey all.. just looking to go for some custom headlights on my 97 CL 3.0.. I'm a newbie to all this stuff, so i was wondering if anyone could lead me to a site(s) for projector headlights that you know fit the CL (or ones that you have purchased that look good ).. thanks all

sorry none available. ull have to do a custom setup like me. i used AUDI tt HID projectors or (BMW 3 series). since ur in jersey it would be easy for you to come over. if ur not goin hid then im guessing u want h7 projectors. u can always modfiy them to take a HID capsule in the future. right now im only chargin $60 for the labor. u can either get projectors off ebay or i can get the same ones for $230

VXCL, can a similar swap be done with integra projectors? i know i wont have OEM beam pattern like your set u, but I'm sure it will be better than the HID pattern that i have now...

yeah u can do that. ur thinking is correct. just cant tell u exactly how to mount them. ur on ur own. all i can tell you is the extra money for the HID projectors might be worth it if u get the sames ones i used becuase it couldnt have installed any cleaner. also u will need a dremel or similar tool to make things easy. if u dont have one make sure u factor that into ur budget.

I was looking at the 98+ Accord headlights, and they look really similar to ours. You think those would work?

the $$$ spent modifying the fenders alone would cost as much or more than buying a complete hid setup and installing hid projectors in ur oem housing. not worth it at all.

So VXCL... what are you saying that youcan do? for the $290 or whatever, are yuo replacing the headlights with HID capable ones, or what? My headlights are so dull, I even replaced the bulbs to PIAA brighter ones, and theyre still dull no matter how i align them.. I just wanted cooler looking, brighter headlights.. what exactly are u doing with the Audi tt (BMW 3 Series) headlights?

basically i install hid projectors from a donor car such as a bmw or audi into our headlight housing. u would then need an hid system to use the projectors. u can either get them off ebay or sometimes i can get them from a collision shop. it depends on ur needs i can supply everything or just do the projector install

So could you give me an estimate on how much it would cost for the projectors and the HID system all together?

well yes and no. if u get the stuff on ebay ull spend around $500 for parts. if u come to my house in nj it can me completed in one day. ill hook up and install everything for $100. i can possibly get the parts cheaper, but ill have to see if the people i know have anything at this time. for u to drive away with everything working i say $620 or less. it really depends on what kind a deal u get on parts.
