HELP! Broken Stud
Guys is is safe to run 3 of the 4 lugs on the wheel. I had a flat so I changed it this morning and I noticed that 1 stud is broken so I cant put the last one on. I thightend the 3 the best I could, when I left my house it had a HUGE vibration and pull. I turned around and called a buddy at Discount and he said it should be fine, but why is the foking wheel moving around like it wants to come off. I did not tourque them down because I dont have a wrench. Any ideas why

It will be ok with only 3 lugs. I broke one on my jeep and still haven't fixed it. But be nice to the car until you fix it. It really should not be that expensice to fix, if you felt up to it, you could do it yourself.

same thing happened to me a while back --- make sure when you tighten to go from one to the opposite lug, so i would tighten the two that are present and accross from each other first, and then the third -- i think you really are suppossed to do this with the car in the air (lift or jack) and tighten some but not too much - once lowered you should tighten all the way (torque) And again remember ALWAYS go to the opposite one you just tightned
good luck (-:
