Angry Help!

A metal plate that is connected from the engine to the exhaust system is CRACKED from rust and old age. V shaped plate\_/

What is the name of this part?

I've been carefully driving but don't want to do much more

it sounds like your talking about the bracket that holds the 2-1 part of the exhaust manifold to the engine. if so mine cracked too due to slamming my header on a dip in the road doing 40. you dont need it, there should be 2 (13mm nuts, i think) holding it to the engine.

well i ride stock and my front end seems kinda loose.

I just ordered my 2 cross member bolts.

sorry i dont know the exact name of the part. that part shouldnt be the reason your car rides different. that part shouldnt be too much money anways though.

i dont think theres really a name. its just a bracket that supports the 2-1 part of the header.
