Headlight Wiring Help

Anybody have any advice on what to do with my headlight wiring? My driver side headlight kept going out....but when I'd fiddle with the wires, it would turn back on. I looked at the wiring the other day and saw it was badly stripped. How can I fix this....is it a DIY job or would I have to get a professional to do it. Any idea on price range?

$15 to fix if u got a sodering iron.

u can get 9006 female connector for $5 @ suvlights.com, then u just need to solder on some wire leads and splice into the oem wiring. thats assuming its messed up too close to the connector to just cut and add new wire.

u got a pic of ur car with the velox rims?

Yeah, the plug is probably bad (conenctor, broken wire, etc). Jest get a replacement socket from online or Pep Boys and solder it on.
