headlight watts & voltage

Alright, i have been searching the site but i cant seem to find what i need. Yesterday my headlight went out and i have been looking on ebay for new ones but i dont know how much power they can have. I dont want to melt my lamps or the wireing. So I need to know the max wattage and Voltage so this wont happen.

are you looking into getting the bluish bulbs? If so, then go for the 55 watt bulbs....the 80 watt bulbs burn out a LOT faster than normal. However, if you were just going for normal clear bulbs, then you can go for 80 watts no problem. Or ya could plop down around $400 and get the best investment you can make on a CL = a H.I.D. conversion kit......

oh...and your low beams are 9006 and high beams are 9005
