Had fun in the snow with my CL

Well it was the first snow fall here in Bethlehem PA.. about 6-7"'s!.. i decided to take out my CL.. keep in mind im lowered almost 3"s.. well i was at a red light, and took off around the turn, only going about 5 mph, my car freakin does a donut and gets about 2 inches from the guard rail.. i hit my back bumber lightly on the guard rail.. not worried about it tho since my car goes to ross on december 28th for my body kit to get put on!.. over all it was fun.. took it in some parkin lots did some donuts.. saw a red VW fox loose control and go in a ditch!.. haha.. dumb ass oo well.. just thought i would share the fun i had with my CL today!..

Question

Any one here have pics of there primerose mist metallic CL with CHROME wheels.. debating if i should get chrome or not since i sold my old wheels to get 18s i really want chrome.. think it will look good?

i tried to do a 360. umm, my car cut off and my check engine light came on.

i reset it and got on my merry way.

btw: directional tires suck in the snow/slush.

They blow big time!!! It actually helped to go in reverse as if I was in a RWD car. Going against the direction improves the traction in the snow. Go figure. I wonder if getting them flipped in the winter is a good option?

Snow on snow is better than rubber on snow, which is why winter tires are designed to retain whatever they run though, whereas summer tires are designed to evacuate it... so flipping the tires might help, but you're still gonna have rubber that's rock hard at anything under 40 degrees.

I'm running Arctic Alpins on my CL and my WRX... no problems with traction. Just gotta avoid everybody else. I went tearing up some backroads in the WRX... I love AWD, 4 wheel drifting, and watching snow fly out of all the wheelwells.
