there are only a handful of supercharged h22's out there, and i dont know really too much about them. although it does sound like a pretty cool setup.
i believe that you'd still have to do as much upgrading and maintanence with a turbocharger as to a supercharger.
i doubt you'll need to worry about turbo lag with a t3/t4. how ever keep in mind that in some cases, a turbo with a larger wheel trim may be *less* responsive as to a turbo with a smaller wheel trim ("less" being that it varies between the sizing of the turbo and the wheel trim.) the t3/t4 should spool up just fine. i had no problem spooling up my t3/t4 .50 trim. spooling started a little before 3k and i reached max boost (7psi) by 7000rpm on my stock motor when i was test driving it.

there was a write up in a SCI magazine that did a test with the J.R. S/C, turbonetics t4 ball bering turbo, and the vortex cintrifigual (sp) super charger. J/R had the best low end performance but once it got to high rpms, it slacked off alot, the turbo had the best power from mid-upper rpms, and the vortex had the best top end power, they said that they are all excellent upgrades, just have to pick out what style of driving you are planning on doing.
if money ever does come around in my life i want to S/C and turbo charge my h22.

imo that test compares two totally different things with way different characteristics. of course a T4 will have the mid-upper rpm advantage, while the s/c makes better low end. if they wanted to compare something more similar, they should've tested a gt-25 or 28 to a supercharger. gotta go
