It can definitely be done. I did on a '91 Prelude.

Depends if you're bringing it to a shop yourself with the engine out already. H22 swap uses pretty much the same mounts as the F23, you might be able to do it yourself if you just pull the engine and buy the mounts from Hasport.

I've never seen a stock strut bar over an aftermarket strut bar on our cars, I actually like the look

My strut bars are off of my old '94 Accord. Alot of Honda stuff will work on CL's. My old '97 had Accord folding mirrors, SIR Accord side markers(the really cool flat ones) and the blinker plugs and dual filiment bulbs from an EG Civic in the CL bumper lights. That way you can have the CL bumper lights on constant, and blink like it was that way from the factory. They literally plug right into the bumper housings.

The wiring is very easy. Even the colors of the wire are the same! Your blinker has two wires and your running light on the corner has two. The EG Civic plug has three wires. Cut the CL blinker wires back from its origional plug a couple inches. Set the CL blinker plug and bulb aside(you wont need it any more) Connect the two wires from the CL blinker harness to the two same colored wires from the EG Civic blinker plug. The third wire coming off of the EG Civic plug should be red. Conect it to the red wire of the running light harness that lights the corner of the CL's blinker housing. It will look like the pic below when your running lights and headlights are turned on.
There is a quick and crappy way to do this and have your blinker flash really quickly. That sucks. My way is the correct way and will work properly as if the car came that way

Guys, what you are looking at in the picture is the actual JDM Accord folding mirror switch. It fits right into the CL's switch hole. Look at the CL's switch. It's the same size. You just swap it out. When you get JDM Accord folding mirrors make sure you get this switch and the relay. If it doesnt come with all three, forget about it. You need all three to make everything work correctly. Folding mirrors are easy to wire and look way better than the stock CL mirrors. Accord mirrors are some of the best looking mirrors out there. Why have some boring one piece mirrors when you can have them fold. It's one of the sickest JDM mods. I even have Altezza folding mirrors on my Lexus.

My Euro-R H22 was a 2000 and had the computer with the immobilizer. The thing was a wiring nightmare starting from an OBD2a car ('96-'97) and putting in an OBD2b ('98 +) motor then running it OBD1. One the under hood wiring was figured out, I used an OBD2a to OBD1 jumper harness connecting to a P28 (EG single cam Vtec) computer. I also ran a P61 (GSR 1.7 DOHC Vtec '93 only) computer.
You guys have to understand that I only ran these computers because unlike any other H22, the Euro-R comes with a single butterfly intake manifold. Just like type-R Integras. Regular H22's always come with a dual butterfly manifold. Just like GSR 1.8's do. Therefore you are better off using the P13 computer that should come with your swap.

That's what I figured. I wish I would have done that instead of what I did for my manual swap. I used a jumper harness from OBD2B to ODB2A so I could run my F23 on a 97' CL F22B1 P6W manual ecu. Mainly I wanted to avoid the immobilizer and I got the ECU for $20; I will eventually have to go OBD1 though when I do a motor swap.

JDM cars have folding mirrors due to tighter parking on their small island. The kind of person that squeezes their car into a tiny parking spots isn't worried about modding their mirrors so they fold. Your doors and quarter panels would already look like an ocean of waves from all the door dings.
