after some further research ( http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...Engines&hit=15 ) it appears that the Type S as i were is the correct labling of this engine. In which case, i admit that i was mistaked, but to no point, the alledged type R was prolly ment to be said type s as that may be the only other motor inline h22 wise above the regular h22. Your correct. Thank you

hmmm. Who said it wasn't possible?

Of coarse you can do it but who the fuck wants to beat there motor like that? That's straight retarted. PLUS, THERE IS A POINT IN YOUR RPM'S WHERE IT IS USELESS TO GO PAST AND ACTUALLY MAKES YOUR CAR SLOWER. That point is ussually around 6500 on a f22b1.

You'll learn.

apparently everyone saying that the engine CANT go past 6500. And, enough with the talk, i know enough as is and i get power in the higher rpms. Redcl2.3 has my vid. I showed him proof and i dont lie or bs. These forums have enough of those already. According to the factory, the cars SHUTOFF is at 6500. Mines around 7200 which is why i posted my proof. Thank you.

Only a few people argued you can't if you look in the posts. Personally, I never disagreed. But I know you don't make power that far up.

You still thought you had some invisible turbo...don't know shit about your car...think chrome is cool...and think there is a H22A Type R. So who's the bitch now?

You guys are all mistaken. There is a type-R H22. All you have to do is a search for Type-R Accord or Honda Torneo. They put the Type-R in both of them. Type-R H22's are different from type-S's in that they have an intake manifold that is single butterfly. No other H22 has this manifold. Sure their both 11:1 comp. but type-R's use a different head, different cams and pistons. The type-R also has more torque. Anothe thing that is exclusive to the type-R is the short gear ratio tranny. 17% shorter gears for the type-R. You can allways tell the Euro-R H22 by the distinct manifold. Just look a the under hood pic. of my car. There's your true Euro-R. Trust me their out there but their expensive.

Your an idiot.

There may be a type-r car but there is no H22a Type-R. There is an h22 type-s (spec-s) which may be in those cars but doesn't make it a type-r since the car is a type r.

You are wrong cause type- s has higher compression pistons, cams, etc and yes a 11:1 compression.

The euro-R f20b has a single butterfly. Maybe you are talking about that motor all together.

I'm an idiot. What you wrote above shows you dont know your ass from a hole in the ground. First, a type-R with no type-R motor, sharp as a marble bro. Second, Type-S, SIR-T f20b's, and type-R are all 11:1 comp. F20b's are 2.0 liter w/blue valve cover. They are called SIR-T's. If you look at JDM Honda Parts website they have an SIR-T for sale. Look close at it, you will see that there is no single butterfly manifold. Thats because they didn't come with one. MY euro-R H has the single butterfly manifold. Dont believe me i'll be happy to get you a pic. I'll tell you what, you can allways do a search like I said and prove yourself wrong.

I searched for about 3 hours this morning you fuck!

I found info saying that the accord type-r has a 2.2 engine but never said which kind.

Y don't you post us up some nifty info on this subject. If you have the facts then give them to me. I don't mind being wrong or learning something new but as far as I know, there is NO H22a Type-r.

And I know my ass from my head. My ass has more hair on it!

LMFAO

I don't wanna hear what you have. I want proof and since you tell everyone to do a search, why don't you do a search and post up some good online information for us.

Not uptight either. Just want the facts Einstein.

I do know "shit" per say. I was just being sarcastic in terms of the so called "invisable turbo" so why doesnt everyone just chill. Ill find a way to compress the vid so everyone may view it. I have nothing against being wrong or sometimes just playing dumb, but when someone has questions or something similar in nature, they shouldnt be interigated about it then called a dumb ass or that theyt dont know shit, everyone is new to something in some respect and i just happen to be new to the whole CL thing. So please cut me some slack and ill post a compressed version of the vid. Its aproxx 3 mins Thanks redcl for your help, i appreciate it.

I know how you feel dude. Every time I bring up my type-R motor it causes controversy. Hope to see the vid. though. Also are you running the stock ecu?

U think so. I havent changed anything since i got it. I plan on doing a a front light mod ( paint ) and my intake should be here shortly Tuesday the 30th i think. But as far as i know, no work has been done to the engine. I have yet to contact the original owner on this.
