as for G22 numbers im sure theyre close to H22 numbers, but lower, because im pretty sure the F22 blocks are lower in compression... but then again the only reason you build a G22 is for boost, so lower is better

I think his reasoning was someting like less moving parts......... or something, and maybe something in the H22 block, but either way our F22 blocks can be buiklt with H23 parts I think so then why bother......... well thats some people for ya

thats correct my friend! Also, the F series block bring about more low end torque like spencer_homer said. The low end torque coupled with vtec up top is what makes it a great setup, even w/o boost. But boost just sweetens the deal! Also, if something blows the parts arent an arm and a leg to replace, you can get another f22/23 block for like 400.
just poking in to say wadup... its been a long time since i did that swap. and i talked to the guy about 2 months ago (he now lives in texas) and its still runnin good. it wasent really all that hard of a swap. i learned alot, and proved that its possible. now im stationed in the u.k and i can get j spec h22's all day.. so if the price is right i could hook someone up. bye ninjas
