yes those should work for the 2.3 cl but you will ned to buy new shocks when you lower it, your stock ones wont be able to cut it with the lowering job

glad to hear they will work, and i am getting the new shocks as well, but do you think i will need a camber kit for the front cinse it is a 1.75" drop?

you wont need a camber kit cause its not that much of a drop.
I also got the H&R's and i didn't need shocks right away but probably will eventually. It's probably a good idea to get em done all together though. It will save you time and money.

I had my lowering springs on for over a year and still didnt need new shocks after I lowered it. It is a good idea to buy shocks and do it all at once to save money on labor. It is a possibility you will need a camber kit, you will have to wait and see when you get it aligned.
