thats tight, ive got two l7's and a kicker amp and an eclipse amp and panasonic headunit im putting in soon, had them for a while but havent gotten to putting them in and i realized something, this kid was like ill buy your eclipse amp for 50 bucks and i came home to see if i was gonna get ripped for that and the amps suggested retail was $1,077 and my kicker amp is $700!! im amazed. i got all of this for free!!

Type R huh? You got the model # to that. A month ago I bought an Alpine sub ( not sure if it was S or R) but I didn't like it too much. Couldn't hit the right frequencies and shit in the CL. I switched to an Infinity and haven't looked back

Type R's are the pimp, I almost bought a set of them, but got a better deal on some other speakers for wholesale, so I got a pair of those 12's. Type R's are sweet though, my boy had 3 in his bravada, fucken pounded

meh, ive been thinking of a system, and the most I'd ever want to go would be probably w/1 ten and some excellent speakers inside the cabin. I like clear crisp sound, not ass thumping thuglyfe booty base :P

Yeah, I got it. I'd still like to see some pics. I did the same with matching my speakers, but I matched them to my lighting theme. If you want black, then I would definately recommend JL. They're all black, and the most bang for your buck in my opinion. As far as a black box, there aren't many made, usually gray carpet, but you can recarpet the box easilly, I plan to do this with my dual 12 enclosure, after I get done with like 20 other mods that are in line first. But black speakers, amp, enclosure would look hawt. Any other plans for the trunk, since it's gray?

About the grey box I was planning on upholstering it with black vinyl or something
similar. For right now my focus is on the exterior more than the interior, so once
I get the exterior the way I want it then I will work on the headliner, trunk, and all the other parts of the interior that don't match up to my color coordination. However, my amp and speakers are a must so as soon as I get my HID's and my ww front lip, the completion of my system will follow.

the black vinyl would be sweet. About pics, I was asking if you had any pics of your blacked out hl's on your black cl. I did look at some other threads though, and talked myself back into doing it. Had some doubt for a while, but think it'll look sick. I don't have any pics of my car yet, because I'm in the middle of overhaulin the hell out of it. I have a mod list of all the projects i'm in the middle of, but the up to date one isn't online. I'll post it for you later. Pics will come shortly I promise. Was too busy with finals, and such to work on the ack lately. Plus I just ripped my system and such out, gettin ready to install new. I'll get pics up after I get my 5 lug conversion and wheels done. Got a buttload of other mods going on next week too. Can't wait!
