Guaging interest
Is anyone interested in my fully built h22 turbo setup? The reason why I ask is because the shop who is building it, they're not making it a priority towards finishing the job. So, I will talk to the person who is in charge of this project and settle this deal. If they don't make it a top-priority or they haven't done anything at all, I will simply ask for all my parts back and sell it off. Along with the car. As if it weren't this ridiculous already.. If they can finish it in a certain ammount of time (ASAP) I will keep, and finish my project.
Now, I'm not certain how I want to do this, but if I must sell my h22 turbo setup, I'll sell it as a whole for whomever plans on doing an H22 swap. There will be no parting out whatsoever. I would list it as:
Bold text = Maybe
Engine and goods:
JDM H22 freshly built
5 speed transmission
ACT 6 puck race disk and Heavy duty pressure plate
ProStreet 9lb flywheel
DriveShaftShop stage 2 axles
Block sleeved by AEBS
JE 9:0:1 pistons
Eagle rods
Crower turbo cams
SuperTech valves
SuperTech valve springs
SuperTech titanium retainers
Fidanza cam gears
Skunk 2 intake manifold
ARP head and main studs
Garrett GT37 turbo
Tial 38mm wastegate
HKS SSQ blow off valve
Intercooler
RC 750cc injectors
Walbro in-tank fuel pump
Hondata S300
P28 ECU
Looking for or around 8g's. I paid well over 13g's for everything, including things I hadn't listed Everything is brand new except: Heavy-duty pressure plate; In-tank fuel pump and P28 ECU.
If you are interested, please PM me. I will keep you up to date as to what happens.
This is for someone who is looking towards making serious power. A true enthusiast. Some people may say my experience was a total waste of time. Unfortunately for me, it was. But if someone buys my setup and lives my dream for me, I'd say that it wasn't a waste of time.
It's been more than a year already and I just don't have the patience anymore. My car can't make me happy. So I want something that will. It may be time to move onto something better. Like I had said before, if the shop can't complete my project in a timely manner, I will have no choice to sell it. If they do finish it, I will keep the car forever and hopefully get into the 10's one day.

tell them to finish it or tell them to give you your stuff back and bring it to another shop and have someone else do it. to me that shop sounds like a bunch of asshats, since the motor has been there for over a year.

I can finish it, but the thing is.. Do I really want to spend 5g's towards getting my car running?
Or, should I pick up one of these?

Slight change of plans, I figured it'd be easier if I were to put the car back together in one piece and sell it stock with a fully/freshly built motor. I want to get it running, and then set it up for a max whp dyno and 1/4 mile run. When I can get the braging rights, I will see if I can get a little feature in a local zine. That way I can say it's for sale and it'll expand interest towards my car. I may also advertise it on the mainland through autotrader.com or ebay. I will start the revolution, but I want someone appreciative to carry it on for me. Because the truth is, I cannot afford to continue spending money on my blue CL.

I love CL's and the white 3.0 will be a keeper. Perhaps when you decide to write up a DIY for the J32 6 speed swap, I'll look into that.
