GS-R head on our engine?

GS-R head on our engine?
my friend is tellin me to put a GS-R head or B18C5 head on my engine, is this possible? he said i'd be close to 200 hp or somethin like that. any suggestions?

not on your engine, the blocks are different.
We've done a few frankenstein motors for our CRX. Our current is a b20 non-vtec block out of a CRX w/ a GSR head on it. But we've also done LS blocks w/ Type R heads. It's a pretty powerfull motor but it's not very reliable.
It's basically the same as how people use H23 blocks w/ h22 heads.

yah. dont listen to your frined. different series motors. the only head that would come close to fitting is the h22 head, but that doesnt even work.

Yea, I didn't even believe him when he told me in the first place. He thought it would be cheaper than buyin an H22, too bad it aint even possible. Oh well, I'll get that H22 in the future when I got some money.
