As far as power, I got this from over on V6performance
"AEM did some dyno testing with and with out the spacer, and there was an increase. The max gain was 3HP and 3ft/lbs. but the increase was throughout the RPM range not just peak."

first of all people, it has nothing to do with an intake, it doesnt touch your intake, it goies between the intake manifold and throttle body.
second, 2 people have come through on this. dustbuster and kileadoen or whatever his username is (tim).
if you guys want to save $25 on this and get it somewhere else, wait 3 weeks for it, then go ahead. nobody on here would know about this or many other things about their cl's if i didnt mention it. im not making shit on these i dont get a good price on them, but i am here to answer questions and help with installs... if you buy it from me. im not the only shop owner that is sick of bs'ers and people that buy from other places, get the shaft after they have your money and have to go elsewhere for help.

I know you guys have installed it on 3.0s and there the accord people mentioned a gain of 3hp on the 3.0, but do you think it would even be worth it for the 2.3 engine?

The main reason I got it is because a longer intake plenum should make more low end power

Ok its installed.
I drove around town for a little bit to see how it works.
My thoughts:
low end power is improved, better from a stop, more responsive at highway speeds, no noticeable gains in the upper rpms, it makes the car a lot more DRIVEABLE, by that i mean the car does not seem like its trying HARD to get going under NORMAL driving conditions, the spacer makes a squeeky/whistle noise at about 1/4 throttle, the noise goes away with just a little more gas, im not sure if i am going to be aboe to live with the noise, sounds like squeeky brakes,
thats it for now, im hungry, and ill drive more and let yall know

Ok the rest of my thoughts,
I custom fabricated a bracked so i could still use the "soft mount" with the aem cai. In other words i took a pice of metal wacked it with a big hammer until it was flat and then drilled holes in it=) I removed the strut tower bar for easy access to the throttle body. I did not disconect anything but the cai.
