Great day!!
O boy I feel like a new man after today! I put on my 160 watt alternator (JUST SO YALL KNOW ITS A BITCH) I had to pull back the alt chord and everything. Well once it was all installed... I go to turn my key.... NOTHING STARTED! after about 20 mintues of fuckin yelling and shit I find out that my Battery fuse blew. The next morning I hit Advanced Auto, Car quest, (other local auto suppliers) and my honda dealer. NONE SELL 100 Amp fuses! Finnaly I drive 20 minutes to pep boys and find one. After coming home (keep in mind I am driving a 2002 suzuki xl7 not tha Cl) i go to put the fuse in and its to big. So i say screw it and go to town on it.... cutting bending and making it fit to screw it back in. Finnaly i get my baby going and peel out of my driveway and head to Discount Tire... AND GET MY 17" Enkei RS6's in Goodyear GSD tires!! It looks like a new car I love em!! I will be puttin pics on soon !!

Shit, you're sounding like one of my adventures (shocks/springs)! Where'd you get the alternator from? I'm running a 180-amp alternator, and love it! Look forward to seeing your wheels!

Man we all go through it, sounds like and adventure though. What was your old alternator running at before you swapped it out? Well good luck and I am glad you were able to get those wheels. I know it looks sweet, waiting to see some pics.

Well the adventure is not over! Dust even though your 180 amp site looked good I could get mine rebuilt here in town for $160 w/ 160 amps so i went with that and didnt need a bigger cable. I am still yet to find out why the alternator blew in the first place. i dont think it s because of my amp because I have a cap... but who knows! i took this week off so I am gonna try to mess with it!
O yeah I got the Goodyear GSD's and they are beautiful tires! i would take them over nItto 450's anyday
