got my intake in!

for x-mass I got a generic sri with a k&n filter, and nuespeed sport springs 1.5 inch drop. I put my intake in first cuz it was ez, but my friends told me not to put in the springs, and said I should get shocks first. He then explained to me that the stock shocks that I have will only be good for about 3 months. and on the "all newbs must read" thread it says I should get new struts. So what should I do? Should I just drop my car on stock shocks?

he's right in that you will need better shocks, due to that the stock shocks are meant for the stock setup

the shocks will wear 3x as quick when you lower it, you might as well spend the extra money ow when you lower to do the shocks so that in the end you wont have to take apart your suspension again just to install shocks

also with the neuspeed springs, you might need a camber kit

i would recommend that you wait and wait to get your shocks and then do the install
