Got a bunch of crap in one day :)
my subs finally, FINALLY came today! after about a month, got 2 12" infinity reference subs and a cheap wussy us acoustic amp 100x2, got a k&n filter but i cant put it in because one of the screws on my airbox is COMPLETLY stripped and its hard to get at with needle-nosers, and got piaa plasma yellow ion bulbs for my clear bumer lights.. How easy was it for you guys to put subs in youreself? i'm VERY new at this and am about to just consider taking it somewhere and paying more to get it professionally done, but a few kids i know are offering to do it for me but im worried they'll screw something up

Acoustic amps are pretty good; however, a 100x2 is pretty wussy for those infinity's. Anyhow, Installing that amp is pretty simple.
You just need to run a positive power wire from the battery to the location of the amp (usually trunk). First thing is to disconnect the battery wires to prevent any shorting out. Then find an area on the car body in the trunk (Or by the location of the amp) to run a ground wire. Tap into the remote turn-on wire from the stock amp.
So now connect positive wire to positive terminal on amp, connect ground wire to negative terminal on amp, and connect remote turn-on wire to remote turn-on terminal on amp.
Next, you'll need to tap into the rear speakers and connect them to the "low input" terminals on the amp. (A total of 4 wires)
And last, just connect your subs to the amp's speaker outputs.
It's simple, really! I'm not kidding you, the hardest part is running the positive wire from the battery to the trunk. And that on a difficulty scale of 1 to 10 is a 5. If you want I could design some diagrams but it won't look professional or anything. Just so that you can get the job done and feel proud that it's something you did all by yourself. You can then be called a "Do it Yourself-er"
I'll post them in the morning.
Later,
James
