Goodbye Acura-CL. Thanks for the memories
Well I just sold my 1997 Acura Cl 2.2 and i am just totally bummed. I LOVED my car!!! Of all people to buy my car i actually sold it to a 60 yr old guy. His wife didnt like how it was hard for her (i guess she has arthritis) to get in the back seat but he said "nobody's gonna sit in the back". I wanted to crack up. It took him hmmm a 3 min test drive to convince him to buy it. His wife was like "dont you want to think about it tonite", but after the test drive he just whipped out his checkbook. I sold it for 6000 bucks. It had 93k miles on it but ran perfect. All maint was done and the interior was flawless.
Anyways now i'm totally bummed cause i miss my car already. It was a damn sexy machine. I always got complements on it even though it was 6 years old.
I got a 2003 MDX 3 months ago cause my wife and I are expecting our first child next May and it was the sensible car to have. I love the MDX but not quite like my CL.
Anyways just wanna say Peace to you all. Thanks for all the great advice you've given me all these years. All you CL drivers should appreciate the car that you have. It is one great car!!!
