Personally I'd stay away from the xdrilled/slotted rotors. I've had 2 sets now, and they warp way too fast, and are more for looks than actual performance, they look good, but suck as far as braking goes. They wear way too fast, and don't ventilate and cool the brakes like they claim, they just wear faster because of all the weaknesses put into them, ebay drilled/slotted rotors are no good. If I were you, I'd save up a little more and talk to excelerate in the group buy forum about getting a set of rotoras, much better quality and they'll last a LOT longer.

Listen to Chris... He talked me out of the exact same ones and I went with Excelerate. They are a little more expensivce, but think of that cost in the long run when you have to replace them in 6 months.

Thank you Chris for talking me out of those. I am so far very happy with my Rotora's.

Thanks Chris, i have heard about them warping, but doesn't that hold true for most xdrilled rotors? I mean obviously these aren't the best quality.. but is it worth xdrilled/slotted brakes period? Or are they just for looks on our cars?

"Not every rotor is made equally." Depends on the compound/material/balance of the rotors that the company uses, one's XD/S rotor is very different than another company's. Operating temperature range is the thing to look for, the higher the better. If the rotor's OT is too low, your rotor will warp very fast.

As for functionality, XD/S'd is good enough if you don't go tracking or don't do hardcore street racing. If you drive normally, XD/S'd will deliver more than enough, that's why people say it's for look only. If you track your car then Slotted or Dimpled rotors are the ways to go.

If you don't like Rotoras, check with Mr.Heeltoe (Marcus) from Heeltoe Automotive, he's an official vendor here. He carries a line of Racing Brake rotors, they are very good.
