i might wrap the header. i have 15ft of wrap that i used for my intake. i might get another 15 ft and put both on the header.

and chris. everything is super quiet. although i have been used to open header and an exhaust leak for quite some time. but you would be surprised how quiet everything is.

 

lookin good can you tell an improvement in speed?

 

its very noticable through out all 5 gears. nothing crazy but its alot more fun to drive now. basically if i could compare it to anything it feels like a bone stock Civic Si/RSX-S.

im probably gonna race my best friends Prelude (I/H/E) and see where i stand. he used to always beat me buy like a fender, but i think that might change now.

yeah thats my friend Joe, hes currently selling the car so we definitly gotta go at it before he actually sells it, which i hope doesnt work out for him. car is super minty.

 

i dropped off close to 360lbs of brake rotors off at my local scrap yard just now. you drive onto the scale with all the shit in your car. once you unload you drive back over.

with me in the car (180lbs give or take), no spare tire, and a half tank of gas i weighed in at 3,040lb. which doesnt seem too bad to me.

 

thats pretty good considering a prelude weighs almost the same

 

beat the prelude pretty nicely. 3rd gear pull from like 50, give or take.

yeah him. they have like 200 or so. maybe a hair less. and yes he has I/H/E like me, but a crappy header. hes used to have a VTEC controller and would have probably been a better race if he could engage earlier like i do.

yeah he blew his H22A4 with 60 something K!!! what happened was when he changed his oil the rubber o-ring melted off the filter and then stayed there, so he put another filter on then eventually is loosened up. he never noticed any oil leaking and when the oil light came on it was too late. threw a rod on a highway in MASS.

bought a H23A long block.

with no oil, it doesn't matter what your mileage is, its gonna blow lol.

 

i bet he has an oil pressure gauge now

yeah i know im not saying that. it dont matter if you have 10 miles on the odo

 

I think that an absolute necessity. Oil pressure and accurate o2 readout are necessary.
