Ghetto
Ghetto
My car's decided to go ghetto on me:
Everytime I press on the brake, my parking lights come on. I have a brake light out, but for some reason, the dash light to tell me i have a light out isn't lighting up. Wiring or fuse problem maybe? Difficult to fix?

I had a problem with this, I went through probably 25-30 dual fillament bulbs, because according to the dealer there was "water in the sockets" Soon as they "fixed" that, no more blown bulbs.
I honestly have no idea how I got water in the lights, but it's definately there. Also, I apparently am getting water in my trunk somehow hahaha, my car's a piece. Think that's a major problem though? It hasn't seemed to have done anything bad as of thus far, but maybe that's what's messing with my wiring now.
its one of the dual filaments, the light will only go on once you hit the brake, just a dummy light to tell ya to change ur friggin light bulb...took me a min to figure it out the first time i saw it.
have somebody hit ur brake...check bulb...change bulb....problem solved

Wow, you really assume I'm dumb enough to not know how to change a light bulb - thanks. I'm more concerned that there's a wiring problem since my parking light come on when i hit the brakes.
