Can the CD be put on Kazaa for peer to peer sharing? That might be the easiest way to share it since it's large.

Yeaa me too, i'm on cable now, in two weeks i'll be back @ school w/ t3.

Ok guys...sorry about the long ass delay...i was having a lot of problems with my new computer...couldn't get it to quite work....took it into the shop 3 times and finally got it to do what it is supposed to do...now that i have a new computer...i can burn the cds in less than 3 minutes...so that won't be a problem at all...but another problem that i haven't mentioned before is that the program installs off of two floppy disks...and i wanna find a way to put those install files onto the cd cuz the cd is about half full...so tonight i'm going to get this thing finished cuz i feel bad delaying this whole thing so much....so i'll make another post tonight about the process...thanks again

maybe you can just zip it up and the 2 floppies you can probably just put them in different directories. and you can either send it to DjPhamacy to host it or just put it on kazaa. Thanks for keeping us up to date. we were just starting to wonder if the Helms ppl has kidnapped you. :)

I believe I left a PM for you but anyhow, I don't mind hosting it for our Acura-CL.com members. I have DSL and have set up my computer for FTP transfers and therefore I could host this for you no prob. I could also upload it to some of my friends servers and so everyone can have access at their own convenience.

Just tell me if you want me to host it and I will have the server up until all members that wants a copy receives it.

I KNOW HOW YOU CAN HOST THIS FILE ... there's a place called www.streamload.com you must pay or have an account there.. but you can also purchase mb's. it's like $5 for 1.5gb worth of downloads. you can definitly host it there. check into it and count me in for either cd or download. thanks

Bad idea...FTP is the best...is free!!!

why don't you just post your mailing address, then we could just send you an envelope with a couple of blank CD's + return postage. eh, it takes longer than FTP, but works for all the 56k people. (btw, I got broadband, I'd be more than happy to put it up on Kazaa after I got a copy :) )

Ok guys i got it to work...i setup the ftp on my computer and had a friend test it out....BUT it said 4 hours and 30 minutes to go...cuz it was going at 30 kb/sec...thats what my upload speed is...we really need to find a T3 server or something...does anyone have access to one??? thanks..maybe soopa??

I think a few servers would be a good idea because of all the people that want to download it. I would say anyone with cable or greater is a good idea. I'll download it and share it on WinMX if you want. Just give me the ftp info so I can get this baby started!!!:cool:

As i said in my last post...send me a PM and i will give you my address...then you send me the money/envelope whatever it takes to get the cd to you...i am not going to spend my money to send it to you...i'm doing you a favor by just giving this out for free..

Terrible idea...give him a break, I would never send my cd out to someone I barely know. Just do it like he said with the envelope and return postage or download like the rest of us.

6 people have already ordered the cd...and if one of them can post up how much it cost them to get the cd...I assume no more than $5...i would recommend that everyone do this...as of now we are waiting on a server that is fast enough to host the file...it is almost 500 MB...
