Had my 99 2.3 for a year now, about a year ago they resurfaced the rotors, everything was fine till a couple months ago when I started noticing a little bit of shaking when braking a little harder than usual. It's still mostly like that, not bad at all, but noticeable. Anyone know how much a dealer will do gratis before they start charging ya? Is there a TSB for the 1st gens? The guy I talked to at the dealer said they usually do the first resurfacing for free but that's it. He said I must be braking hard and that's what is warping the rotors... Whatcha think? And don't say "new dealer" cause they're the only one close by!! There is a Honda dealer I will be going to for oil changes for now on, they seem to be less expensive on all the general maintenance things like oil changes, etc. But for other stuff it's Acura.

 

I had that problem like that. The brakes were vibrating hard. I bought this $5 spray for squeaky brakes which also lubricates and wa la! problem fixed. I use it once every 2 or 3 months. If its the same problem? I dunno but might be worth a try.
