ok need some help here....my girl is driving my car around since hers broke recently....i need to get her out of it asap!!!! hehe
anyway, i need to know if the drive axels are the same for a integra and civic of the same year..1990 if anyone knows please met me know. Civic one is MUCH cheaper..everyone thinks they can charge insane amounts for acura parts over honda parts..

I usualy go there first for any parts i need..ironicly, they were the most expensive i have seen yet. thanks for the info anyways.
btw i can the civic ones VERY cheap.. and its both the left and right side..

I have afeeling that they may not be the same. The reason is that every engine swap article I read says that you need the integ axles to fit the new engine. Why don't you go to a junkyard and pick them up? As long as they are lubed up good they shouldn't go bad...?

What have you done to the integ to snap the axle?

I bet you're the one that mess up her car, that's why she's driving your's =)

well first off, i lost my license for a month so i don't drive right now...sucks for me. Her car has had a bad cv joint for over a year.oddly enough its held up this long, but just last week it broke so now she thinks she is entitled to my car HA! From past experience, its easier to find the half shaft with the boots on each side(in good condition), rather than buying a new boot kit.
i might end up having to just buy the kit..oh well. whatever it takes to get my car back in the garage so i can put the computer in it. p.s. our junkyards around here suck..can you say ford and chevy....cant tell the difference between the junkyard and the dealership..
