gauge questions

hey does anyone have indiglo gauges that dont work and you want to sell them???

I was thinking about installing them without wiring them and using the existing lighting to light them up at night.....do you guys think that would look good??

. I just like the way the white gauges look during the day and wondered if they would light up or still be visible with the factory lighting at night??? besides the consensus seems to be that the indiglos eventually crap out...so maybe i can buy someones burnt out indiglos and just use the as covers for the gauges with out messing with the wiring.....

just a thought...

thanks for you input

the gauges might be to thick for the stock lights to shine through.

not too sure ......I connect my gauges through the stock dimmer and have 1 stock bulb still in there and if I crank the stock dimmer to full brightness I could see the light through the gauges......I'm sure you could but it would look kinda f'ed up.

Don't know what you mean by front lighting.

The front lighting IS sufficient. I've tried it...only thing to worry about is the needle shadow because the lights are shining from the top. If you don't mind that, it looks pretty good.
It doesn't look too bad at all...I just like a little indiglo.

Hope that helps.
