If thos numbers are correct, that is beyond horrible. The first thing to do is find out when you last had a tuneup, then if its been a while do all the basics. Plugs, wires, filters, ditrib cap, rotor, etc. This should help bunches-

I'm getting 15mpg on a 98 CL, and its a 2.3 liter engine !!! HELP !!! Changed: fuel filter, air filter, distributer rotor and cap, plugs, wires, had fuel injectors cleaned... NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, drives well... HELP !!!
