premium fuel burns quicker ie. less gas milage
if you use lower grade the motor may not run as smoothly

it actually requires less gas beacuse of the fact that it burns quicker...more combustion with less gas = using less gas...in other words more combustion & less gas injected > more gas injected and less combustion , its also better for your engine. i know some people are not gonna agree with me but thats just based on my own research, do your own and find out for yourself its only 2-3 more $ comon now

Calm down guys.

It's my understanding of the question that he is wondering if he will get better gas milage on the highway using a higher octane gas. The answer is no. You will still burn more 93 octane fuel than you will burn 87 octane, even on the highway.

Yeah I tried it for a month, didn't do shit for me. Car ran pretty much the same, got the same amount of miles. My wallet was a bit lighter but that is it.
