Free h22 in so cal!!!!!!!! No joke

Whats up guys, I haven't been here in a while, (so hi) Well I just went to trade in my CL tonight and the fucking nissan dealership wouldn't give me shit for my car (trade in) because of the JDM h22 swap.

Heres my offer. Anyone who wants my h22 can have it as long as I can have your motor and you pay for the labor of swapping out the h22 and putting your f23 into my car. (so you'll have to pay some ca$h, but it's still a free h22) I've had the motor in my car for about 6 months, and it runs strong. (ask cocoa ) Only problem I had was some scratchy noise for a while, and it turned out to be the distributer. Got a new one yesterday. And the AC belt was loose too and it was just replaced. It runs perfect!!.

94 JDM h22 (perfect tranny, no grinds!) (approx 40-45K miles) If you want, you can drive it 1st while its still in my car.

Post any offers up here! Thanks guys, and hello to my old buddies on here!!

Damn...thats a hell of an offer, someone in SoCal should jump on that!

And I cant believe the dealership wants to give you less for a lower mileage, higher power motor. Well..i guess so, since they want everything factory, but still.

yeah sorry I forgot to mention that it has to be a 5 spd. That would be way to much trouble to switch the tranny.

Thanks for the responses guys! keep em coming! BTW- tis is a limited time offer the car is on ebay, and I'm also going to hit up a few other nissan dealers and hope they don't notice the motor! The damn acura dealer didn't notice, but nissan did

Yes, it will definately fit into the 97 2.2 5 speed CL. Someone really needs to jump on this offer, it would be nice to see another CLer get hooked up like this. I would definately love to swap engines with you Soodark, but I would have to drive all the way from Canada.

hey guys the reason I said f23 is because my cars a 98. The 2.2 from 97, would not pass smog, because any engine swap must be the same year or newer than your car to pass emmissions in ca. Otherwise it would be no different from the h22. It still wouldn't pass smog.

BTW- would have been cool to hook someone up, but knowone jumped on it in the first few hours so late last night I drove to another nissan dealer and their trade in specialist was gone......and I tricked em into giving me 5 for it, which is still a rape job for me, but better than the 3,500 the other place was gonna give me because they spotted the JDM motor. They don't know about the missing driverside airbag...the missing spare and jack...h22... haha I finally got to fuck a dealership!!...kinda

Got a brand new silverstone (dark silver/grey) 350Z 6 spd. base for 26 grand!!! Put down 10G's plus the 5 they gave me for my CL and the payment is under $300!

The base 350 is such a deal guys! It's got the same motor/tranny, and body, just doesn't have the navi, hid's, 18's, traction control, brembo's, anda few other things. The 350's go from $26 all the way to $42!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the base is the fastest cause it's lighter without all the extras. I'll post some pics of it soon!!

whoa... wtf ryan...

ok... i think im down.. how hard was it for you to pass smog with the h22 in?

about 1g to do the swap? how soon do you need this done? eek!

let me know ive been away to long i miss this shit.

wait a second... i needed to edit the post. I know you raced it a bunch, im not worried about that, how is the motor, anything going to be needed to be replaced such as piston rings or tranny or anything that is going to be expensive? I dont want to get stuck with a motor that im going to need to throw more money into to just get it to keep working.

If your going to need to trade in the car, changing the current belts and water pump on my current f23 should not be an issue at all. actually doing this swap would not be much more than all that 90-105k maintainance.

thanks in advance ryan

umm reedit...

im a loser....

just read you traded it in already booooooooo im such a loser im going to go cry.

Congrats on the purchase. When I first started looking at the Z's, I was looking at the performance model. Knowing that I would add wheels and brakes somewhere down the road, I went with the track model. Nissan is sh*tty when it comes to aftermarket parts on cars. Even with the Nismo parts. I didn't really want Navi, but I got it anyways. I've been please with the car, but I miss not having a back seat.

no man it's a tenzo steering wheel they didn't even notice, cause the tech wasn't there to check the car out. They'll notice once he get there. It's not like I had a missing airbag in a stock steering wheel. That would have been fucked up, if they didn't catch it and sold it to someone.

haha yeah I love the base model... it's lighter=faster And I'm gonna put rims on anyway, so I can handle the 17"s instead of 18"s. The navi and hid's would be cool, but other than that I like mine. The bremblo's suck btw, from what I've heard they wear out 2x as fast ad cost 2x as much to replace. Plus you can't fit alot of sick rims over them. congrats on ur Ztoo man!

Oh, it's cool then . I thought it was the stock wheel. I had two people try to sell me cars with obviously no airbags and it pissed me off. Congrats!

The brakes are pretty good. I have ran the car on some serious twisty roads and they are just awesome. Anything performance will wear faster than stock. And, if you add any kind of brake kit down the road, you will be limited with wheel choices. There are tons of nice wheels for them though. You can get any volk, maya, hre, racing harts, etc..

The base doesn't have the LSD and the weight difference is 3188 vs. 3225. But, for 26K, it's on heck of a car.

Lets see some pics!
