Fog lights

I'm sure this questions been asked before (sorry if it has been!) but i'm looking at foglights, just looking for suggestions and also, is there a hole in the firewall thats easy to reach? I've been looking for one and cant really find one that i can get to easily... any help would be great!

Answer #1: Look on eBay for some OEM foglights. In my opinion they look the best. They're listed occasionally and are pretty reasonable in price.

Answer #2: The best place I've found to go through the firewall is on the driver's side. Find the rubber grommet with the hood release cable and make a small cut in it. Feed the fire into the inside. It should come out just below the steering wheel.

Hope this helps.

If you get the stock fogs (I too think they look the best) some of the wirring is already in the car... the plug for the switch is in the center console... and the fog light harness plugs into another harness located next to the firewall, in the engine compartment... so there is no worry about going through the firewall, its already done for you. If you get the fogs, someone on here can tell you where the plug is located.

All CLs are prewired for OEM foglight kit. They're very easy to install, and look great.

I think OEM complete the look of the CL better.

Also installation couldn't have been easier.

From Warner: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1875571803

I bought mine over a year ago. He's selling them for more $$$ these days.

Send him an e-mail and ask how much he would sell them outright.

I haven't seen one set of fogs on the CL's that looks right, even the OEM's look out of place for some reason?!? IMO, i wouldn't buy fog lights, if you need better lighting, angle your lowbeams higher or buy HID's.

PROJECTOR foglights

has anyone tried to put PROJECTOR fog lights on their car? I was thinking of getting the PIAA projector fogs with yellow ion bulbs, anyone done this yet? anyone know how hard the installation will be on a aftermarket foglight kit? is there a way to use the stock location for the foglight switch for an aftermarket one? How hard is mounting the foglight to the bumper?

My lowbeams are really messed up, the right light is pointed way off to the right and the left is pointing way up, its really hard to see the road when other cars are coming at you, the light from my headlights doesnt drown out the light from theirs, hopefully itll help!

A few turns of a screw driver will angle them back to factory settings. Easy and free, what else culd you ask for?
