Flush mounting fog lights in place of bumper lights
Whatsup guys i had a question for you body experts.........
Someone below had posted that they wanted to remove and flush out the front bumper lights.
I too wanted to get rid of the bumper lights and in addition i wanted to see if i can flush mount some Audi a6 fog lights in its place (a little lower than where the bumper lights go) but someone told me that i couldnt do this because due to the brittle material my bumper is made of it can crack....is this true?

I had the bumper off my car for a week and in moving and cutting it, it seemed pretty flexible. Im not sure it would be a DIY type of job for it to look good, but im sure a pro could do it.

Awhile back when doing my Accord Headlight conversion, I intended on doing just what you thought of, but the work involved was overwhelming so I stopped short. The bumper is made of plastic so basically you can mold it on with a bit of fiberglass and body filler. I meant to use the Hella angel eye fogs they were 3.5" in diameter, but classes were around the corner and I ran out of time. I seem to like my bumper lens anyhow with the conversion so I don't think I'll take a second attempt at the fog lights.
Good luck. It's going to be alot of work so expect to pay alot if you're not doing the work yourself.
