First day at work with my CL...
First day at work with my CL...
Started a new job today and there were about 12 new employees, and we all decided to go for lunch. We all hopped into our cars and went to a nearby restaurant. Man, was my CL starred at heavily, it was amazing. Got all kinds of questions from people who didn't even know Honda makes a 6 cylinder VTEC --- to the usual question: "Man, did you do any heavy engine modifications? I love that sound from your engine!"
There aren't too many 1st GEN CLs UP HERE in Montreal, so it makes it sort of a unique car... I've seen maybe 3 or 4 in the past year that I've owned my car. I've seen quite a few TLs and 2nd GEN CLs though.

.....Besides hell.
Same "down here" in Toronto! I have a primrose CL, my boy has a light blue CL, and I've seen a couple on the road but other than that and a couple at the Acura dealership there extremely rare here too. But....lots of TL's and 2nd gens! Anywayz our is dirrtier and when my baby face drives through the streets every1 is like what the hell is that....they think its some special edition accord or sumthin! I love it when evry kid with a licence is riding around in a civic or a domestic.....but people cant say sh*t when a CL pulls up, that's becuz their jaw is on the floor.....

Oh yeah, and funny you mention HELL in your post because I don't know if you noticed, but you're at post #666.
I agree
I agree that the styling of the CL first gen is awesome! I just need drop though. I'm trying to justify the expense and with so many things needed right now, I'm really stretching. (Like it's safer close to the ground) (Or it will be easier to wash the roof). I'm a mechanic for a major US airline and those attacks made me a cautious spender since my job is only there when people are okay with flying.
Good observation on that triple six post MontrealCL
Have a nice weekend,

Thanks, I have a feeling this job is only temporary, until I find something more in my league. Ever since I got layed off from Nortel Networks last year, things just haven't been the same.

I was with a dot-bomb....I mean com that went under in April of 2001. It's tough out there. I'm still doing consulting work until I can find the right place.
Contracts on the job and good luck in finding the right job.
