Congrats with your new ride. Buying stuff online isn't that bad. All you have to do is make sure the company is legit. If you don't have paypal already, then I suggest you sign up for an account because it is very handy. I bought over 5000$ worth of car parts over the internet from honda-tech sponsored merchants, etc.

there are shops out here that supply for the import scene, but i highly doubt they have parts- say for instance like pistons, valvetrain upgrade, omnipower coils etc.. they can get these things though by ordering it through a mainland vendor, but id rather buy it myself online. majority of shops carry universal products and products that are popular for certain cars.

i mean its nearly impossible to find your everyday things here on hand.. much less on an island..

yeah, most of the times i dont bother checking out local shops because they most likely dont have what i need.

i've heard numerous stories about ebay and paypal messing up up peoples cash and shit. it happened to someone i kno. got ripped off cuz the credit card was stolen. i guess thats y im a little worried about shopping online.

ive been a "regular" buyer on ebay for a while now and everything has been going well. all you have to do is "shop smart". example: buy from PowerSellers and Ebay Merchants and shit like them with 98%+ feedback.

ive been scammed once over ebay. this private seller was selling a vafc and he never shipped it out to me. it had been a month until i filed a claim through paypal. paypal got his contact info and shit. the dude didnt reply back to me so i had paypal refund me my money, and they got back 95% of it.
