Finally! 18s, Neuspeeds, Clear Corners...all on the CL (pics)
Well after waiting for what seemed like forever, I finally got my CL lookin pretty damn clean. I just recently bought it no more than like a month ago, id guess....all stock, the basic 3.0 model. I already had these wheels sitting in my basement, cuz they were gonna go on my 00 Accord, but then I totalled that the night the wheels were shipped...But somehow I ended up with a HELLUVA nicer car, so I was totally hyped about that! I found this forum while searching around for some souped up CLs, to make up my mind on whether or not I wanted the car, and now here I am, heh. I almost just got the same Accord, but then the older CL popped into my mind one day, and I did a ton of research, looked for pics of nice ones, and I fell in love almost immediately. I went with the 1997 burgundy red 3.0. Working full-time over the summer definitely helped the funds for hookin it up immediately. I had a lot of money sittin in my account when I got the car. So as soon as I got it, i went right to work. Within a couple weeks of gettin the car, my first "mod" (if u wanna call it that) were tinted windows, as some of you know. Cant thank the forums enough for all the help that was given when i was stuck on what percent i should get. I ended up going with 5% on the back three, and 15% on the front two. Next, found tires to fit my wheels (225/40/18 Kumho Ecsta 712s), did a TON of research on lowering springs, and decided to go with Neuspeed Sports (at the last second! Was real close to gettin the Pro Kit, but then backed out of the purchase...thank god!). So finally, this week I got my wheels, tires, and springs installed. And just yesterday afternoon, I installed the clear corners myself. So without further delay, here are some pics I just took this evening....Hope you like em!
PS....Cant thank the forums enough for helpin me make the right decisions!! haha

looks nice. when I see a red CL I think of a lude because of the unpainted skirts.
get those painted... other than that looks real nice. rims didn't come with some sort of center caps?

Sweet! Love the color - I don't think I've seen one like it. I'd pull off the pinstripes. Looks great!
