Hey wat do you guys think of a fiber glass hood??i can have one custom made to fit my cl ...however, im not too fond of fiberglass.. i heard some horror stories.. but the thing that kinda got me thinking is that it is gonna be my hood so i dont have to worry about hitting potholes, it scraping, shattering becuz of a driving to fast or watever.the only thing i can see is if something were to physically land or pound down into the hood. but ya would you guys invest in a fiber glass hood?

 

I wouldn't. They generally look like shit and don't line up as well as the stock hood does. The CF hoods are kinda like glass, but they have the texture and don't need to be painted. At that, most the ones out there for our car are not top quality. I'd stay with stock.
