Fender liner woes
I need both front fender liners replaced so I called my local dealership and they quoted $65 a piece. I can deal with that. Problem is, he said the fasteners/clips that I need are $2.50 a piece.....and I need about 20 of them!!! First of all, is there any way to remove the good ones without destroying them? I'm guessing probably not. Can't they be found at any hardware store for about 10cents??

you mean that acutal sheet metal for the front fenders? Thats only 65 bucks? Damn thats cheep. Its only like 40 bucks extra for the clips but that does seem excessive. If nothing else ~$120 for each new fender seems like a decent deal.

You need to buy new clips, they pretty much destroy themselves when you take them out.
I have gone through 3 fender liners, they are pretty easy to put on just take the wheel off and you have easy access.
there is always, www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

No it's for the black plastic thing that goes in the wheel well...in the mean time I found the clips for 79 cents a piece on http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/ except I'm having trouble finding the passenger side fender....anyone know the item number??

OK I just bought 2 liners (l&r) and all they charged me was $4.95 for handling.
The site says they add shipping costs later at a rate of $1.50/lb for less than 10lbs and $1.00/lb for 11-20lbs.
Except no shipping charges have shown up so far, maybe because I used UPS ground. I'll let you know if they add any charges.

Also, can you list the part #'s for each liner and the part #'s for the clips

As for the clips, I bought 88528 because the guy at the dealer said I would need about 20, nothing else seemed to match any better, let me know if you think they're the right thing.
I'm planning on reusing the screws since they don't get destroyed when you take them out like the clips do.
BTW, you can't enter those numbers into the search section for some reason, because nothin comes up. You gotta go through the part where you select your model, yr, trim etc. then select 'front fender.'
