shouldn't be that fast... starting with 145hp... what can you do? new cam, some a cam gear, pullies, port polish, i/h/e, vtec controller, new pistons, lightened flywheel and clutch plate, f22 in a 1989 civic hatch, should get you going decently fast I would think but heh? im not sure how much you can do to an f22 n/a-allmotor.

not very fast. You'd have better luck looking on an accord forum (same motor) I don't think anyone here has anything more that bolton's on there f2x. (n/a wise)

One dude got a new cam, ecu, e/i/h/p clutch, flywheel, p&p on his f23.. and he still got pulled on by a stock prelude. I just talked to him recently on clubrsx.com, he bought an rsx-s. oh yeah his name was vabusha or something close to that.

You have a better chance of finding Bin Laden than you do finding a fast F22,23 in our cars.

I think we're gearing this more towards cars you would actually see on the street, not a full blown track car.

i myself have a decently quick f22 prolley not the FASTEST but heres what i have. Intake AEM Header SS 2004's OBX , Magnaflow 2.25 inch FULL exhaust ( sounds like stock but once you get on it RUMBLES, dual stage ECU Vtec engagment and remapped fuel curve ( ECU ) Forged JE pistons, rods, valve springs, Ultra SS pulleys and a some port polishing here and there. Ill give my hp at around a true 172 HP basicaly 27 hp increase to the ground. As far as the cars exterior well, its stock looking but speed doest have to look good ( looks dam good anyways ) ill take some pictures of my engine bay sometime and post it on my Car domain. a car that i can compare my speed with is my buds GSR with i/h/e 5 spd lacks some torqe ( were i get him ) but he soon pulls up to me and all our races are within a car length both ways ( condition dependant )

hey thanks guys.... the reason i ask is because i'm startin to look into headers and exhaust, but i have a turbo on my mind for someday..... so now i think i may just save up the bills and wait to blow the few g's on a turbo kit. If I got a cat-back exhaust now (most likely a thermal r&d), would that be alright with turbo slapped on, or am i gonna want less backflow and bigger piping? thanks again

you can get the 2.5 inch piping now... should be ok for your set up at the moment and do well with a turbo.

well i'd do the 2.5 inch piping, but i love the stock look of the thermal r&d.... is there anything else that would look stock that i could put on with 2.5 in?
